The West Coast Eagles are saddened by the passing of inaugural squad member Sean King on Wednesday after a short illness.
A prolific wingman, King played for West Coast in the final round of the club’s first season in 1987 against St Kilda, kicking two goals.
He was recently awarded Life Membership at West Perth, where played 60 senior games and gave long service as a runner for the Falcons. King also played WAFL for East Perth.
The Club sends heartfelt condolences to King’s family, friends and loved ones.
West Coast’s players and staff will also wear black armbands in his honour during Saturday’s match against Carlton.
Vale Sean King ❤️
