The West Coast Eagles have recalled five players into the extended squad to face Collingwood on Sunday at Optus Stadium.

Co-captain Liam Baker is set to return, after missing last round’s matchup with Richmond with calf tightness, and the week prior due to suspension.

Former Pie Fin Macrae has also been selected in the 26-player squad, and if named in the final team on Friday, will make his club debut for the Eagles.

Macrae joined West Coast in the Supplemental Selection Period late last year and has been a consistent performer for the WAFL Eagles so far this season.

The 24-year-old midfielder is currently averaging 25.2 disposals from 13 games, including a game-high 33 touches against reigning premiers South Fremantle last weekend.

Baker and Macrae are joined in the 26-player squad by exciting young trio Josh Lindsay, Tom Gross and Hamish Davis.

Lindsay impressed in Sunday’s WAFL win with 24 touches and three marks, while Gross played an important role with 21 disposals and two goals.

Winger Harvey Johnston and defender Sandy Brock come out of the squad this week, both omitted following Sunday’s 11-point loss to the Tigers.

The Eagles will name their final 23-player team on Friday at 3pm AWST.

The match starts at 2:10pm WST on Sunday and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and 7plus in WA, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
