West Coast Eagles defender Callum Jamieson is set to play his first game of football in over 10 months this weekend, successfully rehabilitating a knee and ankle injury he sustained last season.
“In great news, Cal has ticked every box with his knee and ankle rehab,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness told westcoasteagles.com.au.
“He got through training today so is available for selection this weekend.”
Experienced midfielder Elliot Yeo has returned to running, but his recovery is progressing slower than initially expected.
“Elliot has been completing his rehab running sessions, however, has been unable to progress to the next stage of his rehab over the last fortnight due to ankle symptoms,” Inness said.
“We will be seeking a specialist’s opinion and will give further updates on his return-to-play plan when we have more information.”
Campbell Chesser continues to move through his rehab program, following ankle surgery in February.
“Chess is progressing his on-field rehab and is expected to start to integrate into drills next week.” Inness said.
