West Coast Eagles defender Tom Cole will be assessed in the coming days after presenting with hamstring soreness on Tuesday.

Cole pulled up with the minor hamstring issue following the tough loss to North Melbourne on Sunday in Bunbury.

“Tom got through the game, however reported some low-grade hamstring soreness today,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness told westcoasteagles.com.au.

“We will have more information on his availability in the coming days."

Fellow defender Callum Jamieson is on track to be available this weekend after suffering a hamstring injury in the WAFL last month.

Meanwhile, forward Matt Owies looks set to return after next weekend's bye after sustaining a calf injury against St Kilda in round 10.

“'Jamo' had a good session on Saturday in his recovery from a hamstring issue,” Inness said.

“He still has some boxes to tick before being made available this weekend, but he is progressing well.

“Matt is progressing through his calf rehab and is starting to join in with drills. He is tracking well to be available post-bye.”

Star forward Jake Waterman is in the early stages of rehabilitation after undergoing season-ending surgery on his right shoulder last week.
