Experienced duo Tom Cole and Matt Owies are set to be available to face Greater Western Sydney on Friday night following strong rehab sessions recently.

Cole has recovered from a hamstring strain while Owies has worked his way back from a calf complaint.

"In good news, after big rehab sessions on the weekend, both Tom Cole and Matt Owies will return to play this round from their injuries they suffered before the bye," High Performance Manager Mat Inness said.

“They’ve progressed through their respective programs and will be available for selection.”

Tyrell Dewar, who was sidelined last week with a minor hamstring strain, is expected to miss again due to the short turnaround.

“Tyrell sustained a minor hamstring strain last Wednesday which meant he missed the Collingwood game,” Inness said.

"With limited recovery time before this week’s game, he won't be available again this week."

Meanwhile, Jacob Newton, who was unavailable last round due to illness, has recovered and is set to be available.
