Draft bio: Russo is an inside midfielder who is both powerful and competitive and is a stoppage star who can shrug off opponents and exit congestion with ease. She can also push forward and hit the scoreboard, which she did kicking two goals in trying conditions in Western Australia’s thrilling win over Victoria Metro. Russo averaged 19 disposals per game against the National Championships and was rewarded with All Australian selection. She also received that honour at under-16s level in 2023, where she also claimed the Pool A best and fairest. She had an excellent year at senior level with West Perth this year, averaging 20 disposals in eight matches. A member of the Marsh AFL National Academy.

Pick 36: Jovie Skewes-Clinton

Draft bio: A damaging and impactful player, Skewes-Clinton's ability is not limited to one role. Playing primarily as a forward, she is strong both in the air and at ground level, with her aerial presence and physicality playing a part defensively. In 2024, Skewes-Clinton had become a key feature of the GWV Rebels’ lineup, averaging 12.6 disposals, 2.1 marks, 3.4 tackles and 2.3 rebound 50s primarily playing in defence. She started in that role in 2025, but most games switched into attack early, finishing the year primarily in the forward line. Skewes-Clinton finished 2025 with 27 goals across 16 games combining both competitions, and averaged an impressive 17.3 disposals, 3.3 marks, 4.8 tackles and 1.8 goals per game for the Rebels.
