The WAFL Eagles have confirmed their team, with a strong midfield contingent headlining the inclusions ahead of this weekend’s clash.

Elijah Hewett and Harry Schoenberg both return to WAFL level, where they are set to spend time in their natural midfield roles as they continue to build form.

Experienced ruck Matt Flynn will lead the side’s on-ball division, joined by in-form midfielder Tom Gross, providing a solid foundation around the contest.

Up forward, Jamie Cripps brings valuable leadership and pressure, while Jack Williams will look to provide a strong aerial presence inside 50.

The defensive group features a mix of youth and versatility, with Sandy Brock, Rhett Bazzo and James Ewing forming a key part of the backline structure.

Harvey Johnston, Clay Hall, Harry Edwards and Jack Hutchinson have been elevated to AFL duty, while Tom Edwards-Baldwin is sidelined with a hip injury.

The Eagles meet South Fremantle this Saturday at Fremantle Oval from 1.40pm.
