West Coast co-captain Liam Baker has been offered a one-match sanction for Rough Conduct by the Match Review Officer following Saturday night’s loss to Brisbane.
Baker was cited for a fourth quarter incident involving Cam Rayner which was deemed to be Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact – resulting in a one-match sanction.
The Eagles have until 9am AWST on Monday to decide whether to challenge the sanction at the AFL Tribunal.
If Baker accepts the suspension he would miss Friday night’s Western Derby.
Baker has also been fined $1500 – down to $1000 with an early guilty plea – for Careless Contact with an Umpire in the first quarter.
Defender Rhett Bazzo has been offered the same fine for Engaging in a Melee/Wrestle during the final term.
