For Mark, being a West Coast Eagles member is about sharing something special with the people closest to him.

Whether it's cheering from the stands, celebrating the highs or sticking together through the tough times, supporting the Eagles has become a meaningful family tradition and a connection that spans generations.
The day a star announced himself
If Mark could relive one moment in West Coast Eagles history, he'd head straight back to a memorable day in 2003.
"19-year-old Chris Judd kicks five first-half goals against the three-time premiership powerhouse Brisbane Lions."
Even two decades later, Mark remembers the performance as the moment Judd showed the football world what he was capable of.
"He didn't have a huge amount of disposals but such a damaging game and his announcement that he was a star of the game."
But while Judd's brilliance made the match unforgettable, there was another reason the day became one of the most important of Mark's life.
"This was also the day that I met my wife, so a great day!"
Soaking up the atmosphere
Like many loyal Eagles members, Mark believes game day starts well before the opening bounce.
"Always try to get to the ground early to soak up the atmosphere."
From watching the crowd build and feeling the anticipation around the stadium to seeing the players go through their final preparations, arriving early has become an important part of the match-day routine.
Excited by the next generation
Looking ahead, Mark believes one young Eagle has all the tools to become a star of the competition.
"Jobe Shanahan, set to transition into one of the best power forwards in the game."
What stands out most is the promising forward's natural strengths around goal.
"Strong hands and great accurate kick."
Like many Eagles supporters, Mark is looking forward to seeing Shanahan continue to grow and establish himself at AFL level in the years ahead.
A message to the team
If Mark had the opportunity to address the players before they ran out onto the field, his message would be simple but powerful.
"Trust in your teammates and in yourself, knowing you've done the hard work to get where you are."
It's a reminder that success is built on preparation, belief and trusting those around you when the pressure is at its highest.
