Natasha Entwistle will become the latest Eagle to earn her AFLW opportunity after being named to make her debut this Saturday against the Gold Coast Suns.

The South Fremantle product joined West Coast as an injury replacement player ahead of the 2026 season, rewarded for several years of consistent WAFLW football and an unwavering commitment to her craft.

Her debut moment marks the culmination of years of hard work for Entwistle, who said she was overjoyed to receive her opportunity.

“So stoked to get this opportunity and go out and play with the girls,” Entwistle said.

“It genuinely feels like a dream come true to finally be playing an official game at the AFLW level.

“To make my debut in front of my family and friends in Perth makes the occasion even more special.”

A hard-running utility, Entwistle has built a reputation as one of the WAFLW's most reliable and versatile players, capable of making an impact across all three lines.

The Eagles unveiled five new players in round one against Greater Western Sydney and coach Daisy Pearce was excited to hand Entwistle her opportunity.

"Tash is someone we've admired for a long time through her performances in the WAFLW,” Pearce said.

“She's competitive, strong around the contest, works incredibly hard and gives us plenty of flexibility with the roles she can play.

“What has stood out most since she arrived is how seamlessly she's slotted into the group.

“She is tough, positive and works hard as well as being a genuine team player. We’re delighted to see her earn her AFLW debut."

Entwistle will pull on the Eagles jumper for the first time when West Coast face Gold Coast on Saturday from 12.35pm at Mineral Resources Park.
