West Coast Eagles midfielder Harley Reid has been offered a two-match sanction for Rough Conduct by the Match Review Officer following Sunday night’s loss to the Hawks.
Reid was cited for an incident involving Hawthorn’s Jai Newcombe which was deemed Careless Conduct, High Impact and High Contact.
The Eagles have until 9am AWST on Tuesday to decide whether to challenge the sanction at the AFL Tribunal.
If Reid accepts the suspension he would miss the opening two rounds of the 2027 season.
Brandon Starcevich has also been fined $1500 – down to $1000 with an early guilty plea – for Careless Contact with an Umpire in the second quarter.
Bo Allan has been offered the same fine for Other Misconduct against Hawthorn's Nick Watson during the third quarter.
