The West Coast Eagles midfielder Kayla Dalgleish is closing in on a return after progressing well from her hamstring injury.

Dalgleish is training with the main group and listed as one week away from being available to play.

"Kayla has returned to high-speed running and is integrating into main training," High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said.

Lily Paterson is tracking well in her recovery from a hip injury as she works towards a return to play in coming weeks.

“Lily is progressing in her return to play and is building towards a return to run over the next few sessions," Batterton said.

There has also been encouraging progress for ruck Liz McGrath, who continues to build her running loads following a hamstring injury and is two-to-four weeks away from playing.

"Liz is building speed in her running and has begun change of direction and skill work," Batterton said.

Defender Jess Rentsch continues to rehab her foot injury which has kept her sidelined at the start of the season.

"While Jess has made positive progress in the rehabilitation of her foot injury, we still do not have a timeline on her return," Batterton said.

Courtney Rowley's rehabilitation from an ACL injury continues to progress, while Mikayla Western and Lily Smart remain sidelined for the remainder of the season.
