The West Coast Eagles 2026 ANZAC Day guernsey auction has delivered valuable support to WA veterans and their families, with all proceeds donated to RSL WA.
Worn during the Eagles round six clash against St Kilda, the specially designed guernseys featured a striking wattle-inspired design that pays tribute to service, sacrifice and remembrance.
The design centred on the golden wattle, one of Australia's most enduring national symbols, acknowledging its historical connection to Australian servicemen and women and the important role it played during wartime.
Following the match, player-worn guernseys were auctioned, with Eagles members and supporters generously backing the initiative to help raise funds for RSL WA and their ongoing support of veterans across the state.
RSL WA Chief Operating Officer Daniel Kennedy-Stiff said they were proud to see the initiative make a meaningful impact beyond match day and thanked the Club and its supporters for their contribution.
"RSL WA provides welfare, wellbeing, employment and advocacy services for thousands of veterans and their families across WA," Kennedy-Stiff said.
"Our focus is to ensure that those who have served our country have the best opportunity to see themselves and their families thrive, whilst taking into account specific care that some veterans require.
"On behalf of RSL WA, we are delighted to receive these funds from the West Coast Eagles ANZAC Day Guernsey Auction. This will directly support the continuation of critical services for WA veterans and their families.
