Some of the club’s longest serving members were recently invited to Mineral Resources Park for an exclusive Beneath Our Wings Sundowner.

Almost 200 inaugural and 30-year members attended the function, which celebrated their loyalty and support of the club through thick and thin, as well as giving the members the opportunity to visit the club’s new administration and training facility.

MC Simon Beaumont kicked off the night by recalling some memorable moments throughout the club’s history, much to the delight of the guests, many of whom had been in attendance at the club’s very first match in 1987.

Guests then had the opportunity to hear from some special guests from the football department, Player Services Manager Ian “Serge” Miller and premiership player Nathan Vardy, who provided some insight about the inner sanctum of the club.

Chief Executive Officer Trevor Nisbett took to the stage following a short break to address the loyal members and thank them for their ongoing support, before taking some questions from the crowd.

Guests had some time to enjoy the complimentary catering and chat with other like-minded members, before Beaumont drew the highly anticipated door prizes.

The West Coast Eagles would like to extend our thanks to our long-serving and loyal members, and look forward to continuing to share the journey with you as we head into the 2019 finals series.
