What excites you most about being an inaugural Eagle? I am most excited about creating a culture at the club where everyone feels at home. A place where we are family and everybody is respected both on and off the field.

Which teammate are you most looking forward to playing with? Dana Hooker and I had a few clear possessions this year for Subiaco in the WAFLW season. From her clearances and my forward craft came quick goals, so I am looking forward to playing a long side her again but also excited to see what we as a whole team can bring to AFLW.

The toughest AFLW opponent you’ve encountered?

I think I was pretty lucky, all the AFLW players that I thought would be tough opponents in the WAFLW Comp I got to play with at Subiaco. Having to go up against the likes of Danika Pisconeri, Bea Devlyn, Dana Hooker and Hayley Miller at training was definitely an exciting challenge, as they train just as hard as they play.

As a forward, I think players like Leah Mascall will be a tough opponent at this next level.

Pre-game meal? Definitely smashed avo from the Imp Café in Vic Park

Game day superstitions? I don’t think I have a game day superstition! I certainly have little routines I like to do in the morning!

Worst injury? I have been very fortunate in this area. I strained my quad running between the wickets in cricket, would you believe! Never any major injuries in footy (touch wood).

Hobby? If it’s not playing sport, I love being surrounded by the people closest to me, having a laugh and yarning, whether that’s here in Perth or on Facetime to my mum and three little nephews.

Favourite holiday spot? I don’t think I have a favourite holiday spot! I have never been overseas (yet). As long as I have my favourite people around me, I don’t mind where I go on holidays!

What’s your spirit animal? Well ironically enough, my family’s cultural totem is an Eagle and we are very connected to the beautiful bird. I definitely take that as a sign; it is all meant to be and perhaps why I have always been an Eagles supporter.

Favourite band? I don’t really have a favourite band, more so favourite singer/songwriters – my fav singers are: Ziggy Alberts, Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy, Bon Iver.

Favourite TV series? I have unashamedly watched One Tree Hill close to 10 times.

Something you can’t live without? Coffee!!! (Good coffee)
