The exciting second-year Eagle joined his teammates in Melbourne today and will replace Willie Rioli in the starting side.

Rioli is unavailable for the finals fixture due to suspension.

Petruccelle returns to the senior side with form on his side following a scintillating performance in the WAFL on Sunday.

The 20-year-old was on fire early during the WAFL Eagles’ semi-final clash against Claremont, setting up the team’s first two goals with trademark dashes down the wing.

He finished the contest with 12 disposals, seven contested possessions, seven score involvements, four inside 50 entries and a goal to boot.

Petruccelle’s inclusion is West Coast’s only change ahead of the blockbuster encounter.

The other 21 players who helped conquer Essendon in last Thursday’s elimination final have retained their spot in the side.

Premiership players Liam Duggan and Nathan Vardy have been named as emergencies for the game along with versatile midfielder Brendon Ah Chee and second-year forward Oscar Allen.
