After a breakthrough 2025 campaign, Abbygail Bushby further cemented her place as an exciting member of West Coast’s emerging midfield group. The Swan Districts product continued to develop her game at AFLW level, impressing with her composure around stoppages, clean ball use and ability to make good decisions under pressure. Bushby’s football IQ and versatility allowed her to impact in a variety of roles, while her confidence and consistency grew throughout the season. Still only in the early stages of her AFLW career, she showed significant upside and was rewarded for her progress with a two-year contract extension through to the end of 2027. With her strong work ethic and continued development, Bushby remains one of the club’s most promising young talents
