Based in South Hedland (Kariyarra), our Pilbara operations pioneered our resource investment in regional WA through the appointment of a Youth Engagement Coordinator in 2021 as part of the club’s Youth Engagement Partnership with BHP.
A highly collaborative approach is undertaken, connecting existing community organisations, programs and events to ensure the provision of meaningful engagement activities for local youth. More recently, our footprint has extended into the Newman (Nyiyaparli / Martu) community full-time, with the appointment of a Youth Engagement Coordinator in August 2022.
