A blend of youth and experience are in the mix to return to West Coast’s line-up for Sunday’s clash with Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium.
Senior coach Andrew McQualter confirmed on Thursday morning that co-captain Oscar Allen would take his place after being managed last week.
Premiership defender Tom Cole could also earn a recall after impressing for the WAFL Eagles last round, collecting 34 disposals in his first state league appearance since 2019.
Meanwhile, crafty small forwards Tyler Brockman and Noah Long are also in the selection frame, coming in to the squad on the extended interchange alongside key defender Sandy Brock.
West Coast has lost star midfielder Tim Kelly to a toe complaint which he had been managing for several weeks.
Kelly’s toe was also stood on at training on Tuesday and he could not be considered for selection.
Meanwhile, key back Harry Edwards has been omitted from the team which lost to Essendon by two points on Good Friday.
West Coast will finalise its 23-player team on Friday at 3pm AWST.
