Waalitj Marawar co-captain Oscar Allen will be a test for this weekend’s clash with St Kilda, after being ruled out of last round with a knee issue.

“Oscar Allen had some patella tendon soreness after main training last Thursday,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness told westcoasteagles.com.au.

“With the tight turnaround before the game, unfortunately he couldn’t quite get up on the weekend.

“We are hopeful he will train this Thursday to prove his fitness for this weekend’s game.”

Eagles forward Jack Petruccelle (shoulder) and defender Callum Jamieson (hamstring) are both set to spend some time on the sidelines, while vice-captain Jeremy McGovern (concussion protocols) will be unavailable this weekend.

“Jack suffered a moderate AC joint injury while playing in the WAFL on the weekend and will unfortunately miss the next four-to-five weeks,” Inness said.

“Cal sustained a moderate grade hamstring strain at training on Thursday, and will also likely miss the next four-to-five weeks.

“Jeremy is still in concussion protocols and won’t be available this weekend.”
