The Eagles Rock My School (ARMS) program is back for 2025, and it’s already making a big impact in classrooms across Western Australia.

Primary students have been thrilled to welcome Rick the Rock and the West Coast Eagles team into their schools, where they have been delivering values-based, curriculum-aligned content designed to empower students to be the best version of themselves.

This year, nine AFL and two AFLW players have joined the program, running footy skills sessions for students from Kindy through to Year 6. The sessions focus on the basics: kicking, handballing, marking, and bouncing, taught in a way that’s age-appropriate and easy to follow. Students then get to put their skills into action through small-sided games that encourage teamwork and, most importantly, fun.

ERMS continues to be the West Coast Eagles most sought after educational program that has truly stood the test of time. Now in it's 21st year, Rick the Rock continues to be a fan favorite, delighting a new generation of Eagles members and fans with his antics and energy.

The feedback from schools is overwhelmingly positive and is a resounding endorsement for the partnership between West Coast and Hawaiian to continue to deliver high quality and educational content in West Australian primary schools.

“The assembly was exceptionally well-run, engaging, and impactful, and the coaching session was equally impressive. It left a lasting positive impression on all involved,” said one participating school.

Thanks to the support of AFL and AFLW Partner, Hawaiian, the program is offered free of charge to schools in both metro and regional areas.
