The West Coast Eagles have informed young ruck Coen Livingstone that he will not be receiving a contract extension for the 2026 season.
Livingstone was picked up by the Eagles in the 2023 Rookie Draft, after impressing in the club’s Next Generation Academy and as a Colt with the Perth Demons in the WAFL.
The 20-year-old has played an important role for the WAFL Eagles for the past two season, but unfortunately was unable to break into the senior team.
Head of List Management and Recruiting, Matt Clarke, acknowledged Livingstone’s contributions.
“We have made the difficult decision to not offer Coen a contract for 2026,” Clarke said.
“His attitude and commitment in his two years with the Eagles was first class, and he continued to give himself every opportunity with his work ethic and teamwork.
“We wish him well for the future.”
