Exciting young midfielder Elijah Hewett and versatile ruck Bailey Williams are both chances to feature in West Coast's Gather Round clash with Geelong on Sunday.

The pair have been included in the Eagles' extended 26-player squad, and if named in the final team, will suit up to play their first games of the season.

Hewett (quad) and Williams (groin) both had interrupted pre-season periods, but have since completed their rehab programs, and both played in last week’s round one WAFL matchup against Perth.

They are joined in the extended squad by midfielder Deven Robertson, returning from a one-game suspension, and defender Ryan Maric.

At this stage, Jamie Cripps (managed) is the only confirmed out from West Coast’s team that lost to Sydney in round four, with West Coast to finalise their 23-player team on Friday at 3pm AWST.

The Eagles will don the iconic Ochre guernsey for Gather Round, previously worn between 2000 and 2002.

The match starts at 12pm (10:30am AWST) and will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and 7-plus in WA, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
