The WAFL Eagles have confirmed their team for Saturday’s round nine clash with Claremont at Revo Fitness Stadium, with Jake Miles-Wrency set to make his debut.

Miles-Wrency headlines three changes to the line-up, joining Josh Lindsay and Jack Williams as inclusions for the round.

The 20-year-old Category B Rookie brings an exciting athletic profile, standing at 199cm after a unique journey from Queensland junior football to college basketball in the United States and back to the AFL pathway.

A former Queensland representative who spent last year in Illinois, Miles-Wrency returns to football for the first time in five years, combining strong athleticism with promising versatility as he prepares for his first outing in blue and gold.

Lindsay has been named across half-back, strengthening the Eagles’ defensive balance with his run and ball use, while Williams slots into the forward line to provide a strong aerial presence alongside Harry Barnett.

The inclusions come as part of three changes from last week, with Brandon Starcevich progressing to AFL level for his first game in Eagles colours after working his way back through the WAFL from injury. Archer Reid will miss with a knee concern, while Shannon Lucassen has been omitted.
