West Coast’s AFL and AFLW teams have been locked in for a historic double header game day against Greater Western Sydney.

West Coast's men’s and women’s programs will both play at ENGIE Stadium on Sunday, August 16 in the penultimate round of the Eagles’ AFL campaign and the season opener for the AFLW team.

The Eagles' AFL side will face the Giants from 1.40pm (11.40am AWST), with only a short break before the AFLW team faces GWS at 4.45pm (2.45pm AWST).

West Coast will then return home for its final AFL match of the season, hosting Hawthorn at Optus Stadium on Sunday, August 23.

The round 24 clash is the final game of the 2026 home and away season and will get underway at 5.20pm.

To avoid a fixture clash, the AFLW round two match against Gold Coast has been moved from Sunday to Saturday, August 22 at 12.35pm at Mineral Resources Park.

The confirmed fixtures provide Eagles fans with the opportunity to support both the AFL and AFLW teams across a big fortnight of football, including the unique double-header in Sydney and the AFLW season opener against the Giants.
