Three West Coast Eagles have been recognised by their peers with nominations for the 2026 AFL Players’ MVP, voted on by the AFL playing group.

Young gun Harley Reid, All Australian forward Jake Waterman and experienced midfielder Tim Kelly have all been nominated for the AFL Players’ Most Valuable Player award.

Reid elevated his game to another level this season, the 21-year-old midfielder finishing his 2026 campaign averaging a career-high 24.6 disposals and sitting sixth in the League for clearances, averaging 6.6 per game.

Waterman maintained his forward 50 dominance, kicking a team-high 49 goals and sitting equal-second in the League for Marks on a Lead (63), and equal-sixth in the League for Marks Inside 50 (67).

In his seventh season in the blue and gold, Kelly remained a statesman of the Eagles’ engine room, averaging an impressive 24 touches and career-high four marks per game.

His leadership and composure through the midfield once again proved invaluable for a young and developing squad.
