What is the current situation for 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season matches? 

As at Monday, March 23, the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership Season is suspended.

The AFL has made the decision to suspend the season until May 31, 2020; however, the season will only resume after consultation with state and federal governments, and relevant medical authorities. 

The AFL still intends to play the remaining 16 rounds of the season in 2020; however, the schedule for these remaining matches is yet to be determined. 

The club acknowledges and supports the AFL’s decision to prioritise the health and safety of the community at this unprecedented stage in the League’s history.

Will fans be able to attend matches when the season re-starts? 

At this point in time, we don’t know. We will make every attempt to keep our members and fans updated as things progress. The club will share all the latest news and updates on our website and in emails to members. 

I’m a West Coast Eagles member, what does this mean for me? 

We are still working to understand what the full impact COVID-19 will have on the club and our membership program, and the AFL and clubs are working diligently to determine the next course of action.

I haven’t received my membership pack yet, will I still receive it?

If you have yet to receive your pack, please send an email to membership@westcoasteagles.com.au, including your membership number, and we will follow this up for you.

What is the status of other West Coast Eagles events? What about school holiday clinics? 

All club events and functions have been postponed until further notice. This is a measure taken to ensure the safety of players, staff, members and supporters, and is in line with recommendations advising social distancing measures be taken.

What else is the club doing to minimise the spread of COVID-19 to staff and players?

The club is working to minimise the impact of the COVID-19 virus on our players, coaches, staff, members and supporters. As part of these measures, Mineral Resources Park is closed to the public until further notice, and the majority of staff are either working from home or have been stood down.

Is Mineral Resources Park still open?

Our facilities at Mineral Resources Park are closed, including the SuperStore and Aquila Café, until further notice. Our online SuperStore is still operating and we will continue to fulfill online orders.

I have an outstanding order with the West Coast Eagles SuperStore.

We are still taking online orders and fulfilling orders as normal. There is currently no disruption to the fulfilment of your orders; however, Click and Collect is not available as a delivery option at this time. Orders to international destinations are not currently able to be accepted.

If you have previously been notified that an existing Click or Collect order is available for collection, one of our SuperStore employees will be in contact with you shortly to update you on how you can collect your order.
