Ruck Coach
Brett brings a wealth of experience to the West Coast Eagles AFLW program, having played with West Perth in the WAFL through colts, reserves and league level in 2000 and 2001, before moving to South Australia where he played SANFL league football with South Adelaide from 2004 to 2008.
After retiring from league football, Brett remained involved at amateur level and transitioned into coaching, assisting from 2009 to 2011. He returned to Perth to join the WA State Academy as a ruck coach and talls program lead from 2012 to 2014, before taking on coaching roles at South Fremantle. There, he served as defensive coach in their premiership reserves side in 2015, then as league midfield coach for five seasons, before stepping into a bench coach role through to 2021. With a strong passion for ruck development, Brett now looks forward to working with the Eagles’ AFLW team in the 2025 season.
