West Coast Eagles fans could get their first look at the AFL team’s new recruits and exciting draftees in the Club’s official pre-season clash against Port Adelaide next March.

The Eagles have been confirmed to host the Power at Mineral Resources Park on Sunday, March 1 from 3.10pm in the last hit-out before the season-opening clash on the Gold Coast two weeks later.

All 18 clubs will participate in an official pre-season match played at regional and suburban venues across the country.

The AAMI Community Series matches will feature four 20-minute quarters plus time-on, as per the AFL Premiership Season, with 26 players on each team and no interchange cap.

All matches will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo and ticketed for fans to attend.

General admission (subject to capacity) will be free for competing club and AFL members and kids.

Tickets for the AAMI Community Series will go on sale in February, with further information to be communicated by the AFL in January.

The Eagles last faced Port Adelaide in round 18 of the 2025 season, falling by 26 points in a spirited contest at Adelaide Oval.

West Coast will also take part in match simulation against Fremantle in February with details of that session to be confirmed.
