Three West Coast Eagles have been recognised by their peers with nominations for the 2025 AFL Players’ MVP Awards, which are voted on by the AFL playing group.
Rising midfield star Reuben Ginbey, premiership recruit Liam Baker and exciting young gun Harley Reid have all been nominated for the AFL Players’ Most Valuable Player award.
Ginbey has continued his rapid development in the backline this season, combining his strong defensive instincts with growing rebounding ability.
Baker, in his first season in blue and gold, has made an immediate impact with his toughness and versatility to play multiple roles.
Reid has quickly become one of the most electrifying players in the competition, thrilling fans with his explosiveness and skill while making a significant impact at AFL level in just his second season.
