Head of Football – John Worsfold

A revered figure at West Coast, Worsfold officially re-joined the club in October 2024 as Head of Football.

Working across the club’s three football programs – AFL, AFLW and WAFL – Worsfold brings a vast range of experience to the role, focusing largely on coaching structure and development, performance and culture.

Worsfold’s return in an administrative position – after nearly four years working in people and culture in the corporate world – builds on his already unrivalled legacy as a dual premiership captain (1992 and ‘94 and coach (2006).

Worsfold played 209 games in blue and gold, and his 281 games as senior coach from 2002-13 is the most in Eagles history.

He will be an invaluable resource for the club, but particularly Andrew McQualter (AFL), Daisy Pearce (AFLW) and Kyal Horsley (WAFL) in 2025.
